My name is Timia Whitsey (tuh-me-uh, wit-see) from Houston, Texas. I am 20 years old. Currently, I am a junior, journalism major at the illustrious Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. Since a young age, my personality has always foreshadowed that I would thrive in media; however, my passion for journalism first began in 6th grade when I joined my school's newscast. I loved the concept so much that I continued to exercise the skills that I learned such as writing, on-air talent, and more. After college, I aspire to become a television writer and one day produce my own television show. I also have a passion for the youth. I plan use my platform to help children find their passion in life at an early age so they can make society a better place! I'm a super outgoing, kind hearted, ambitious girl. This blog discusses life's many ups and downs that we all face, and it offers advice and organic conversation based on current events and my own experience with certain situations.
