If your skin is extremely dry like mine, then you probably have a hard time trying to find skin care products that are best for you. Here's what I use to keep my face moisturized and pimple free!
1. Cerave
Cerave is a slightly thick cream that can be applied all over the face and body. I put this on my face everyday in my driest areas such as my nose and forehead. You don't need too much of it, a small amount will suffice.
2. Cocoa Butter
Not only does cocoa butter keep my skin moisturized, but it also helps lighten dark marks and scars all over the body too. This is a great alternative to Cerave in you don't have any. It smells great too!
3. Olive Oil/ Grape seed Oil
Any oil of this sort works wonders. By applying this on your dry areas twice a day for a couple of weeks, you will notice that the dry patches have become less rough and more manageable. You can find this in the baking section of your local grocery store.
4. Witch Hazel
When I am having a bad skin day, I pour a bit of witch hazel on a cotton ball and apply it to all the bumps on my face. Witch hazel shrinks the size of the pimple and sometimes even prevents the bump from forming in the first place.
5. Plain White Dove Soap Bar
This soap is better to me than any other product. It keeps your face clean, and rids your skin of any pimples in just a matter of a few washes. After using this, I apply one of the moisturizers that are listed above to my face and continue on with my day.
Give these products a try and tell me what you think. I hope it works out for you! Below are pictures of the products that I named.
