F*CK FEAR

What's stopping you from chasing your dreams? Making change in your life? Reaching your full potential?
Despite what you tell yourself, it's not your inability to be great that's holding you back, it's you. Late at night, you lay down in silence overthinking and overwhelming your mind with unnecessary self doubt. But, you're not alone. There are a bunch of people just like you who get in their own head and convince themselves that they are not good enough to accomplish what they want in life. What I want you to understand though is, you are capable of more than you think! You just have to go out on a limb and say f*ck fear! Here are some things to refer to when you're facing your fears:
Follow your first instinct
9 times out of 10, your instincts won't steer you wrong. Before you let fear cloud your judgement, start that business, build that brand, write that book! I can't count the number of times that I had a great idea, but the after thought of "what if?" or "but" came to mind, so I told myself never mind. Don't sabotage yourself. Just take a risk and see what comes from it.
Uncomfortable situations bring forth growth
When God wants you to grow, he will put you in very uncomfortable situations. With that being said, alter the way that you perceive fear. Let it make you excited instead of nervous. Let it represent a symbol of development, a better you, a stronger you. A more resilient you is coming soon.
Call on God in times of uncertainty
Whenever you feel fear, pray. Pray for confidence, protection, and anointing. To me, there's no more powerful combination than those three. Imagine the distance you can go when you have confidence that you can do anything you set your mind to because you know for a fact that God has not only covered you, but given you His blessing. So when in doubt, let go and let God.
Know that you are bigger than your mind
Thoughts are not facts! Do not allow yourself to become your own worst enemy by trapping yourself in your mind. Smother your negative thoughts and allow your goals to come into fruition. Speak positivity into the atmosphere, and make your dreams a reality by actually carrying out the thing that you speak of so often.
Find your passion
When you do what you love, nothing will stop you. That passion will propel you past any of your fears.
Empower yourself!
Nothing is more bomb than being a self-motivator. If you don't support, love, encourage, believe in, and push yourself, who will? At the end of the day, no one knows better than you how great you are and what you can accomplish. So pat yourself on the back and go face that fear instead of waiting for others to do it for you.
Accept that you will fail at times
But failure isn't always a bad thing. Take the "L" as a lesson, and use it to make better moves in your future. Don't fear failure though because it's inevitable and beneficial. Just don't forget to praise yourself for the progress you made along the way. You're doing just fine! (Refer to my post, "It's Okay to Fail" for more about dealing with failure)
Refrain from letting others project their insecurities on you
People who were too afraid to face their own fears love doing one thing: Telling you that you can't do what they couldn't. But do not limit yourself! Remember that you are THE exception. People will tell you things like "everybody failed that test," and what you tell those people is that you are not "everyone." Just because other people could not reach their goals does not mean that you won't either. Everyone's circumstances are different. Stay focused on what you have going for yourself and make it a point to succeed. Be exceptional at all times.
In closing, fear is a natural emotion; however, the most important thing is not to let it consume you. Overcoming fear will be a process, but you won't be going through it alone. So whatever is intimidating you, apply this advice and face it head on!
